The Theology of the Pollock Brothers, Founders of St Alban’s Church

An illustrated talk by member of St Alban's congregation Dr Andrew Harvey (PhD theology, University of Birmingham), exploring the theology of James Pollock, author of “The Morrow after the Sabbath” and “What Ritual has God Appointed” and his brother Thomas, author of “The Daily Round”, founders of St Alban’s Church and founders of the magazine The Gospeller.

You can look round before or after the talk with guide cards and leaflets.

Free leaflets are also available in the church for a heritage trail around the parish of 1.2, 1.6 or 2 miles (2, 2.6 or 3.2 km).

Toilets are available (including a wheelchair-friendly one). The main entrance is up steps from Stanhope Street, but step-free access to the church is available via a path beside the church from a gate on Stanhope Street. The church will be open for visitors from 12:00 noon.

There is no admission charge, but donations for church restoration and our organ fund are welcomed.
