The watch is kept until midnight, before the Altar of Repose in St Patrick's Chapel, recalling our Lord's agony in the garden of Gethsemane, and offering prayer for the world for which he died. The watch ends with a said service of Tenebrae at midnight.

You can join or leave the watch at any time, but please keep silence while entering or leaving.

Entrance to the church is through the cloiser step-free entrance rechaed along the lighted path from the gate on Stanhope Street.
