Thomas Pollock, Hymnwiter
Thomas Pollock, for years curate to his elder brother James Pollock and briefly our second Vicar, was a prolific composer of hymns and litanies.
One of his hymns, Faithful Shepherd, feed me is still in the New English Hymnal. Here is a recording of it sung by our choir.
